Welcome to the world of olive oil! The story will take you through the centuries, from the Roman period to the present day, when Istria once again reaches olive-growing peaks. After the museum tour, we’ll take you to our tasting area where we’ll continue with some practice – an interesting guided tasting – education.

You can come at any time within our working hours. It’s recommended to reserve your ticket in advance through our reservation system to help us better organize the staff. Payment is also possible at the museum.
No, you can come at any time within our working hours and start your museum tour. After that, you can attend the guided tasting.
The tour takes approximately 50 minutes.
The tour begins with a museum tour, followed by an educational guided tasting where you will learn about olive oil categories and how to recognize each of them. You will also learn how to read labels on oil bottles, how long oil can be used, and how to use it in your diet. You will have the opportunity to taste and smell various olive oils. Afterward, there’s a more relaxed part where you compare oils from the best Istrian producers with international awards, and finally, we offer you a surprise dessert.
