Rheos extra virgin olive oil is a combination of five different olive varieties: Leccino, Pendolino, Frantoio, Buža and Istarska Bjelica.
The family Brečević tried to obtain the best from every particular variety, which makes their oil extremely rich and complex. Their olive oil has a unique flavor profile which pairs best with bitter vegetables such as chicory, radicchio and arugula, boletus cream soup, white and red meat, fish dishes and seafood, and different types of cheese. Also, it will perfectly fit in desserts with bitter chocolate.

RHEOS

In three generations of the Brečević family, the tradition of cultivating robust olives and producing olive oil has developed. The first olive grove was planted in 1981. Subsequently, new olive groves have been established from the 90s to the present day. All their olives are located at the Kamponovo position near the village of Dajla in the Novigrad area. Kamponovo is a slightly elevated microlocation with a view of the sea. In their olive groves, we find various native Istrian olive varieties, as well as introduced ones.
