After a challenging 2020 marked by the coronavirus pandemic, the House of Istrian Olive Oil moved to a new and larger location in Istarska 30, just 50 meters from the Roman amphitheatre.
At the opening ceremony, the president of the Regional Assembly Sandra Čakić Kuhar and Pula’s Deputy Mayor Ivona Močenić spoke about the importance of this project for the city and for the tourism of the city of Pula and Istria, and pointed out that such museum, dedicated to an important segment of the Istrian tradition, is an extremely important and praiseworthy project for the city of Pula and Istria.
The new premises have been further expanded and now, together with the tasting area and the shop, extend to 560 m2. The concept of the House of Istrian Olive Oil remains the same, but the new location gives it greater possibilities and new dynamics, so that all visitors can still enjoy discovering the world of olive oil and top Istrian olive oils.
