The House of Istrian Olive Oil has become part of the network “the Cultural Routes of the Olive Tree” of the Council of Europe

The House of Istrian Olive Oil has been accepted into the important European organization of Cultural Routes with an emphasis on the “Routes of the Olive Tree” as a model of European value, heritage and sustainable development.

The certification “The Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe” is a guarantee of excellence. The work of the organization focuses on five main points of action: cooperation in research and development, enhancement of memory, history and European heritage, cultural and educational exchanges for young Europeans, contemporary cultural and artistic practice as well as sustainable cultural tourism as sustainable cultural development.

In 2005 the Council of Europe established the “Cultural Routes of the Olive Tree” and from now on, the House of Istrian Olive Oil is an associated member of this community.
